Longtime Jones Elementary teacher Mrs. Julie Whitten is serving as interim principal through the end of the school year. With 30 years of experience, including 23 at Jones, she provides continuity as Mrs. Dillon transitions to an administrative role at Fegely Middle School.

Principal Message
We are excited to announce that longtime Jones Elementary teacher Mrs. Julie Whitten is serving as the interim principal of Jones Elementary School through the end of the school year!
Mrs. Whitten has 30 years of teaching experience and has spent the past 23 years of her career teaching 5th grade at Jones. She is passionate about educating students, and she truly loves Jones Elementary. Many of you already know and love Mrs. Whitten, either as your child’s teacher or a fun and friendly face around the school.
Mrs. Whitten brings consistency and familiarity to the principal’s office as Mrs. Dillon transitions into an administrative position at Fegely Middle School. Thank you to Mrs. Whitten for her dedication to Jones and for filling in as principal for the remainder of the year!
